• The 90th Annual Conference of the IMS - an International Meet will be held at MIT World Peace University, Pune during December 23 - 26, 2024. Prof. P. P. Malavadkar (E-mail: ims2024@mitwpu.edu.in) will serve as the Local Organizing Secretary of the Conference. IMS 2024 Conference - Brochure.

• The 89th Annual Conference of the IMS - An international Meet was held under the auspices of BITS Pilani Hyderabad Campus under the Presidentship of  Prof. R. Balasubramanian, The Institute of Mathematical Sciences, Chennai. The General Address of the President is available here

• Prof. Madhu Raka, NASI Senior Scientist Fellow, Panjab University, Chandigarh" is elected as the President for the year 2024-2025. Also, Prof. Sameer Chavan (IIT Kanpur), Prof. Swaroop Nandan Bora (IIT Guwahati) and Prof. Seshadev Padhi (BIT Mesra, Ranchi) are elected unopposed to the Council for a period of three years w.e.f. April 1, 2024 as council members.

• In view of the vacancy created due to the resignation of Prof. B. N. Waphare as Treasurer, Dr. M. M. Pawar is now appointed as Treasurer of the IMS.

• A Memorandum Of Understanding (MOU) has been signed between Azim Premaji University, Bangalore and IMS concerning digitization of the back volumes of The Mathematics Student.

• It is notified to all authors intending to submit a paper to any of the periodicals of The Society that there are no page charges/money for publishing a paper in its periodicals. Please note that The Society has not authorized anyone as an agent for getting a paper published in its periodicals - beware of such fraudulent people who promise to get a paper published by charging money. Please bring any case of this type to our attention for urgent action.
